Help with SC48 VNC Control

Anyone have issues with VNC control after 3.0 update ? We have installed the new ECX software on the console and it will not work. Prior to 3.0 update it worked fine. I have been battling this for months and months... then.....Recently we replaced a fader and the tech reset the console to a blank state and the VNC control worked, but when we reloaded a show it will not work again.

Pretty weird....Any ideas ?

Sounds like the default settings for the network are correct but that changes when you change shows. I believe the default is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 cant quite remember which. Either way, I would go into a default show and take a look at the network settings there and copy what is has then check it against your show. Also make sure you have a static IP address. It is usually best to have that so that whatever VNC you are using can save those settings. Also this should come up when you check out the default settings but you could have one number off in your show's ip address. Note that the second to last number has to match up if the subnet is 255.255.255.0 but the last number must be unique. For example if your router is set to 192.168.1.1, set your console to 192.168.1.2. It wont work if your router is 192.168.1.1 and your console is 192.168.0.2 (if the subnet is like the example above).
