003 Drivers
Anyone know if there are working drivers for the 003 for PT 10.3.7? I could only seem to locate a driver for 10.3.3. BTW, don't try this at home! It did not end well (As to be expected).

Re: 003 Drivers
Strange, wouldn't even show up in system preferences for us. I haven't had a chance to look at it closely, so if you say it's working for your rig I'll have another go

Re: 003 Drivers
Latest V10 driver works fine with PT10.3.7 and V11 driver works with PT11.
Install them both ... they coexist fine. Choose the correct one as your device for each version of PT ... e.g. the ’Avid 003' is the one for PT11. You can't use the same driver for both PT versions ... if you try you'll find that the audio interface part of the 003 does work (at least it did back when I tried it shortly after pt11 was released) ... but you'll find the 'soft' functions of the control surface ... buttons, knobs, faders ... only work for the PT version that the driver relates to.

Re: 003 Drivers
I'm assuming you are using an 003 CONSOLE and not a rack? Also noticed you haven't specified whether you're on a MAC or PC. The rack uses a different driver than the console, (Windows) and they are not interchangable.
On Windows, use 9.0.7 for the rack, 9.0.5 for the console. (Made that mistake once, and NOTHING worked.) Looks like the MAC driver is the same for both. http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...02-003-Drivers My 003 console works fine on Win 7 for both 10.3.7 and 11.0.2. Still unhappy with PT 11, though. Every operation is preceded by a good 5-7 seconds of lag. Very clunky. |

Re: 003 Drivers
Yes it's a brand new Mac Pro. And it is the 003 rack variant. I will give the co-install a stab and report back, I have a bunch of other stuff that needs attending to but I will keep you guys posted. Cheers
