bussing stops working
Hello everyone,
This happened to me twice today, and a few times in a past. When I'm bussing all my trax thru a final stereo aux for compressing and limiting, all of the sudden it stops working. I mean, I still see meters going on all other trax except for the final stereo aux channel. I end up creating a master fader channel and sending all my tracks to that output. Once it stops working, it seems that i can't get it to work that way again. By the way, all the other mono bussing still works. Anyone know of anything about this? The session has about 20 tracks total, and I'm using about 10-11 waves gold plug-ins v3.5 PT 5.1.3cs2 w/ 888/24 1 gig ram G4 400MHz SAN drives w/ ATTO FC card thanks! |

Re: bussing stops working
Wow! Can't say that I've ever had this happen to me. There are somethings that I would try to see if I could narrow down the culprit. #1 is to trash DAE Prefs folder, Digisetup, Pro Tools and Waves preferences. #2 I would increase the preferred memory for DAE. #3 I would remove the waveshell and thrid party PI's temporarily to see if the problem reappears. #4 I would create a new session and import tracks from the problem session, 1 at a time, until the problem reappears (if it does).
Hope this helps, MasterJ |
