Watch out for plugin alias
Hey all,
I Did a clean leopard install on an external drive and then installed a freshly downloaded PT7.4.2. I wanted to go through and install plugs one by one so I tabbed over to my backup drive to compare (that still has 10.4.11 on it) and clicked on the plugin alias under "applications/digidesign etc... To my surprise this showed that the backup drives folder was identical to the new install. After digging a bit i now see that the "alias" does not specify a complete path but instead assumes that the current start-up volume is the root. Had me going for a while........ Just a quick FYI in case any one else runs into this. -Lee
