You can not expand to the DV toolkit. No big deal if you're not doing much with sound for video. You also can't expand to the Complete toolkit, which has the DV toolkit features plus way more tracks.

You can expand to the Music Production toolkit, which expands track count and has some cool plugins like Eleven LE amp sim and Hybrid virtual synth.

The other thing is MPowered hardware is not eligible for any Digi trade up programs, such as the current LE to HD program. This may not be a big deal to you.

Other than that, maybe someone else can chime in.

Well said. The last difference is the interface. M-Powered ONLY works with M-Audio interfaces(and you buy the software separately). LE software ONLY works with Digidesign hardware(like Mbox, 003) and those interfaces INCLUDE the software(when purchased new anyway).

Someone recently discovered that M-Audio allows you to do more tracks at once at 96 kHz. I think it's like 16 instead of 10 or something. I can't find the thread at the moment.
