Clicks & Pops
Hi. new to the forum so please be gentle. I have started to get awful clicks and pops on my system on playback and bounce down. It doesn't seem to be recording them though. I am using mac G5 2 Ghz power pc with osx 10.4.11 and 6.5 GB ram, mbox 2 with le 7.4.
I have Downloaded the latest update from the digi website, I have trashed preference folders using Pro Tools preference and database helper. I have repaired disk permissions, tried recording to a different hard drive, loaded up old sessions, booted up from my back up drive and nothing seems to help. I have checked that my system preferences are set according to digi-design recommendations and tried all sorts of different settings in the playback engine window. Nothing has changed on my system, I hadn't used it for a few weeks then swapped my room layout and now this! Please help..... |

Re: Clicks & Pops
Do you have any other device attached(specifically looking for any digital audio connections with external preamps or converters)? If so, it may be a clocking issue.
