Default waveform copying in Pro Tools LE

One thing i've tried doing as way to keep my tracking times minimal, and also keep my hard drive rather uncluttered with big files, is copying 4 bars of a repeating wave over and over.

Problem is, if i work with any type of loop or sound that has some decay or some external reverb on it, it gets cut off at the point of copying. This basically sucks. Because now you can "hear" the copying, which I don't want. I want it to sound like its just looping, not playing then starting over after 4 bars. I've tried some delay, but it doesn't really seem to work

any suggestions?

You should use your effects as a send after you loop it.

Using 2 tracks one could stagger the same loop on each track, alternating between them making sure the tail of the reverb overlaps.

See below: R is the Reverb tail.

1)|4bars|R.......|4bars|R........
2).........|4bars|R.......|4bars|R

both suggestions seem reasonable. I can't use 2 tracks for every loop. I might as well go with a different program if i wanna do that, because 24 tracks just won't cut it.

Any other suggestions?

Hey Maurice:
If what you have sounds great, and you are positive that you are not going to make any changes, then bounce to disk(stereo), and then bring that mix back into a new session, and now you have 22 more tracks to add those leftover tracks that did not make it in your first session.
