Default T-Racks?

Does anybody know the difference between the T-racks Standalone Mastering software and the T-racks plug in, aside from the obvious? there is a $100 price difference. I just wondered which most prefer. If any at all. Also is there a site to check for the best price?

Hey. Rejoice! You can get T-RACKS 24,too
if you buy RATS T-Racks, (I guess).
I got both. The package of RATS T-Racks
included a CD of T-Racks 24 and a manual of it. I bought it in America. Didn't expect is at all!

In my opinion, RATS T-Racks is better.
You can get Soft Clipper.

Dont Buy T-Racks...!!!!

If you really want something you'll be happy w/ get Waves L1 Ultramaximizer, any decent waves eq, and some kind of compressor....Trust me, T-racks isn't worth the price.....T-racks compressor and limiter are a joke! If you want a good compressor go to www.fmraudio.com and get the RNC compressor for only 200$ bucks...Then go get the L1 ultramaximizer from waves and those two alone will blow away T-racks....Dont do it!!!!!!!!!

Please consider other options. Altough T-Racks produces quick, satisfying results, it also add its own "sound" to everyting run through it. Some like it. I think it sounds too "mushy".

Again, this is just my subjective opinion.

T-racks colours the sound quite severely, Have a good listen to it then buy the waves gear.
The L1 is far and beyond the results from t-racks, even the Digi Maxim gives great results however some basss frequencies can suffer.
Good luck, listen to your ears.

I've used the stand alone version and have been quite pleased with it. I felt it was a good bargain too!

Download a demo version and see if you like it or not.

Its all about how you handle your session before you try to master on your desktop computer.

If you prepare right you should need minimal mastering plugs and just use them lightly to get alittle extra boost...If you do that then its not as important if tis Tracks or waves.

I like tracks but you are right it has its own sound...then again ...that what the ik pdfs all say so they hold to there word...warmth...color

Waves is the transparent leader
