Rack mounting Mbox 3 and/or Mbox 3 Pro?

Since I haven't seen either Mbox in person yet, I have a simple question, but one I haven't been able to find an answer to on-line.

I would like to mount either a Mbox 3 or Mbox 3 Pro on a single-space rack tray (next to my RNP "Really Nice Preamp"). Are the dimensions appropriate? Are there the necessary mounting holes in the Mbox for me to do this?

Can someone out there take a look on the bottom of their Mbox and tell me if there is a mounting screw hole?

I did a search and did not find any rack mount kits or rack mounting hardware. As for screw hole (I don't have an Mbox3 or Mbox3Pro) I don't recall seeing any when I looked at the units in the music store. Most of my searching yielded using either heavy duty velcro (the kind used for securing items in an earthquake) to using cable ties to secure the interface to a rack shelf. It also looks a little thicker than a typical single space rack height so you might need to use two spaces. The extra space might make it easier to connect cables etc. from the back of the unit. I hope that helps.

Yeah, I do the velcro trick when I have to - it works, but it's not a tidy as I'd like it to be. I'm a little surprised that nobody else wants to get the box off the work surface and into a rack.

Anyhow, not a game-stopper. Was just curious...

make one, wouldn't be too hard and you could have it exactly how you want it...

In the olden days people used to make their own hardware effects, I'm sure you could make a rack mount.

Old thread, but if you want to rack the MBox or anything that doesn't have rack ears, Mid-Atlantic makes rack shelves you can put most anything on.
