EuCon 2021-10-1-29 won't open

I am rigging up a new PC for Pro Tools work station - Windows 10. I recently purchased an Avid S-1 control surface. I installed the latest version of EuCon on the PC. When it acted a little wonky I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now EuCon won't work at all. The link didn't show up on the task bar and I am unable to open EuControl or MC Client from the start menu.

Any assistance will be much appreciated, Thank you.

Hello to the community. I see you didn't post your system specs so I checked under your user name. If what's under your user name is correct and your still using Pro Tools 2021.3, Eucon 2021.10 or higher will not work with PT 2021.3. The last version of Eucon you can use with PT 2021.3 is Eucon 2021.6.1.

You missed this line

Whilst earlier versions will work, the following versions are required for full feature sets and fixes.

The full feature set is the key. Because, at the end of the day, you don't really get an option on Eucon for tablets. The iOS and Android stores only give the latest. And if using the latest, the Eucontrol version must match on the computer.

As for the OP, run the installer again and choose to do a complete uninstall of everything (it's an option in the Eucontrol installer.) Then, restart computer and reinstall. Additionally, my guess is your S1 will need a firmware update (from within Eucontrol it will become an option once the S1 is seen by the system)
