Default PTLE 7.3.1 NO Dly display

I'm trying to figure out the insert delay after applying a plugin to a track. When I command click in the volume display of the track it just shows 0. I know there is a delay going on but why does it say 0?

What plug in? What makes you think it has a delay? Not all plugs have a delay. And as Anangu posted...Command+2 clicks shows plug in delay.

Something wrong there as PSP VW definitely should report a delay. You're clicking over the actual numeric value right?

What about if you hold down the alt key at the same time as the command key? This should perform the same but for all tracks. At least one track plug should report a delay (usually in samples).

Yes I definitely alt command clicked in the green area on a track where volume data would be and all tracks then said 0 with no DLY.

If "Narrow Mix" is enabled, it will only show you the delay value without the "dly".

Choose View> Narrow Mix.

After confirming that it's the dly value showing "0" samples, insert a "Time Adjuster" plug-in which will allow you to control the amount of delay. Does the number of samples in Time Adjuster match what the track is reporting?
