i can't get the samplecell editor to recognize my samplecell i nubus card

turbosynth and sound designer ii sc can both 'see' it, but when i try to open the editor (ver2.1.1), it says that there are no samplecell cards installed in my computer

even though there are

is there something i'm missing? i'm using the following: digisystem init 2.96, samplecell init 2.04, digidesign sound drivers 1.4.1 (for my audiomedia ii card), mac os 8.1, powermac 8100/110

You might try to re-arrange your SampleCell cards in the NuBus slots. That happened to me, and I put a SC card in slot #1, and another in slot#2, etc. You may have to experiment.

i think maybe the version of the editor that i am using only recognizes samplecell ii cards. is it possible that anybody on this forum could email me an older version of the samplecell editor? instant karma improvement is guaranteed!

If you need an older nubus version, I may still have some around. Digi may have it somewhere on this site?

in my experience winth Sample Cell 1 + mac 7100/80, the card will work fine with DAE/DSI 2.96 SampleCell INT 2.04 and Sample Cell Editor version 2.03 ! ! !

if you need to try this setup. I send this old files to you for free. I think that a action like this is an "approved solution" for DUC intensions
