Default Burning CD Question! Help!

Alright.

What I am on, 27" iMac, 32gb of RAM, i7, using Pro Tools 11. I have a 10 song album. Trying to burn to CD. I have been using Burn to Disk, making both WAV and Mp3 files, and I am burning the WAV files to the CD.

Here is my question. How to do I set it up to burn the CD with all the info I want? Meaning, if someone put that CD into their PC and played it on Windows Media Player.. How to I get the artwork to show up, artist name, album name, song names and numbers to show up properly? How do I set it up to where all the media shows up correctly no matter what it's played on?

Thanks!

Default Burning CD Question! Help!

The first place to start is with a burning software that will burn the artist album and track names. This will put them on the disk, but many media players don't rely on the CD names for data. Instead, they perform a lookup from a database. In iTunes at least, you can manually add track and artist info to a mounted CD. Then you can submit this via iTunes to the database. I don't know about wmp.

And not all standalone hardware cd players even read cd track names at all. I've had the odd happening where a CD I burnt that had track names on it that when played in iTunes it picked up and showed the names from the cd without doing anything with an online database.

I use DSP-Quattro for all my cd burning on my Mac. Less than $100 US and a great program. Could never get iTunes to reliably burn cd's - got more coasters than usables.
