Re: 9.0.2 on my 002
9.02 ASIO drivers still don't work with Sony's Acid 7, Sound Forge 10 or Vegas 9.

Re: 9.0.2 on my 002
SKI -
Thanks for the info (hope i'm not hijacking the original issue for the thread) I am good to go for the home pc.. but a couple laptops I have lack the firewire port. Just in case I decide to do some remote recording I'm looking into my options. Here is the scoop: 002 - pro tools 9, 002 is bypassed by a focusrite isa 428 with the ADAT card. I'm using several nice outboard preamps and compressors from vintech, focusrite, Universal Audio, etc. PT 9 is smooth sailing (9.0.1, not gonna mess with the update quite yet because I've had no problems) I have a newer Lenovo and Toshiba laptop with usb 2.0 and 3.0 on the toshiba. Not sure what I should do to get PT running on the laptops. Steve |

Re: 9.0.2 on my 002
I am using the Digi 002 console and updated from 9.01 to 9.02 with no real issues. The only issue I am now facing since updating is consistently getting CPU errors -9218 when using only a couple of Instrument tracks...which was ZERO problem before. These are tracks I mixed on PT8 with not a single issue. Now constantly stopping. Weird.

Re: 9.0.2 on my 002
that's interesting. i've also been noticing lots of stops from CPU warnings. i didn't have anything objective to say about it since the sessions were progressing and adding tracks as i went but it sure seems like i should be able to run more at the same time.
there were only a couple plugins instantiated at the time. also the CPU warnings don't seem to happen at the same spot each time. |
