003 Rack+, will it work with OSX 10.5 (Catalina)?

No at the moment PT only work up o Mojave . Don't install Catalina i already did it myself and still in public beta . Protools wont even open on it so have to wait . I l've tested catalina beta 2 but beta 3 is out there about a day ago i think . Im gonna test again when have time with beta 3 . I have to say that appart from Protools Catalina feels smoother and snappier than mojave and my benchmark improves a little .
In my case ia for testing purposes so it is still in beta and mojave was just officially suported by Avid . Btw mojave runs very good with PT so no need to update now .

It is years beyond end of support date, so you should not be expecting any driver updates.

Does that mean that people shouldn't upgrade to Mac OS Catalina unless they want to get a new audio interface?
What is it that breaks things on Catalina? Everything was working perfectly with the previous OS.

Removal of any 32bit support/compatibility.

I’ve got 003 console working on Catalina with latest Protools flawlessly. You have to manually install the driver as it says it won’t instal. I’ve got it as an aggregate input with a UA setup. You just have to select the 003 as the interface in ProTools and then set it as aggregate. Everything works except the punch pedal. It’s still a great controller and gives you some extra headphone amps and ins and out s if you’re desperate.
