looking to loop bounced track
I am having a hell of a time getting my bounced midi song to loop properly. I'm using Tascam GVI as my sampler. In Protools the song sounds great in loop play. When I bounce the track and try and loop it there seems to be a gap before the song starts and it is very noticable. I've tried setting the buffer size to 128 but it still gives me a problem. I kind of got it to work by editing the bounce and taking off the silence at the beginning of the track but it is a pain to get the edit just right. I used to work with Cubase and bounced tracks the same way with no problem.
Any suggestions for a noob? |

Re: looking to loop bounced track
Try recording your selection into a new track rather than bouncing it to disk. Trim it so that when you have the region selected it loops perfectly in loop play, and your sampler should have no problems with it.
