Default BM Intensity pro woes

Been running the intensity pro for a few months now.

Last day on a mix, got in and no video. The "video out PCIe" option in PT is gone. BM settings in system preferences are preyed out. Popped the box open, swapped PCIe slots (luckily had a spare) and it seems to be working.

I dont like this at all. Granted the card is pretty cheap. I trusted this device and now question is reliability.

Thought I would share.

re-seating cards is kinda one of those things you sometimes have to do in PCI world. Did you seat it back in its original slot after that and see what happened?

Hmm maybe it is. The PCI world is not one I have spent much time in. I did not try the same slot again, since the client was here and mix needed to be finalized (taking a break atm), I just wanted to make it work so things didn't start looking bad in front of the money.

I suppose I should try the old slot later on otherwise I can't confirm the problem was with the BMI and not the slot itself.

Thanks loop.

could be dirty contacts, or inclement temperature, vibration or bad juju.

also, a newer version might have been released, check the updates page.

I've also had issues with mine...

any answers on why a DV movie would appear blue? I've played witht he output processing and output tabs in the BM apllication but nothing helps

TV is 720p, but works with 480p and 1080i
