Default Noise while scrolling the edit window

I have tried this on three computers with new installs of win 7 and PT9, with nothing else installed but what was needed for my interfaces and the apporpriate and certified drivers for my systems.

I have had this problem on an dual core 3.2 gHz asus built machine with nvidia quadro fx 3500 graphics and a TI firewire card, my dell studio xps 1640 laptop and a dell m4400 laptop.

The interface I was using was a mackie onyx 1640 with the firewire card installed. I have used this interface in the past without any problems with other software like Nuendo and Cubase with no issues.

While recording or playing back a session in pro tools, if i scroll the window from side to side while playing or recording I get strange digital "max headroom" like noise. If I was recording I get pops and clicks added to all tracks being recorded.

I have tried multiple buffer settings, disabling all hardware not being used. I have tried on desktops and laptops, intel and amd, different graphics cards.
I have been troubleshooting computers nearly all of my life and i can't seem to make this problem go away. Any insights would be appreciated.

Have you tried a different interface? Or you could try using your default soundcard with ASIO4ALL to see if it's a problem with your mackie.

Maybe the new driver will help when it comes out.
