Default Rewiring Ableton Live to Protools HD?

What is the Protocol for Rewiring Live to PTHD? Does it matter if I open one porgram before the other?

Default Re: Rewiring Ableton Live to Protools HD?

yes, you have to launch protools first then Ableton Live. It has to be this way regardless of which rewire software you use.

Create and aux track (or2) insert the digirewire/live plugin and then set which input/output from live. The first 2 should be the mix L and mix R.

I have to say that digi have done a sterling job with rewire implementation. Theres no glitches (like I still get with Logic) when looping.

Have Fun
