Can\'t Bounce to disk in Mp3 format....
I try to bounce to disk in mp3 format and it says that the "Codecs" folder cannot be found within the "Pro Tools" folder. I looked at the answerbase and it only said that the protools application needs to be in the protools folder. Well, I have done that and still, Codecs aren't found? Some help please...? Thank you greatly!

Re: Can\'t Bounce to disk in Mp3 format....
Don't know why your mp3 codec's screwed up, but as workaround, it you can bounce to disk as AIFF, do so and then go to iTunes, set the preferences under Importing to Import Using MP3 Encoder, then under the File menu > Add to Library and add that file, voila! mp3.

Re: Can\'t Bounce to disk in Mp3 format....
Reinstall Pro Tools and make sure to check the option for 'MP3 Codec Update', which should install the MP3 option and Codecs folder.
