The pans knobs dont work properly with the m-aduio set up as they should be endless rotarty controllers that control the pan knobs on the m-audio keyboard. If you are using normal rotary controls then the pan controls jump.

Question Re: Please publish the midi cc controls for pro tools 8!!!!

I use axiom and have most of the cc´s set, but I want one of the number-buttons to scroll down tracks and one to scroll up, so that I don´t have to use the keypad.. anyone?

Congrats to all the work on this - I discovered it as i was about replace my old Remote25 I cant use with cs-10 driver anymore and now Ive got the basics back after
reprogramming it. I have come across a problem though as i tried to suss out the flip cc57 - I have now got the button allowing me go between mute and solo on and off (no record arm) but I cant get it to give me back control of track selection and bank selection also my faders still control my faders. Flip is sending 127 on cc57 to no avail

If anyone is still following this ...........

Just in case anybody looks back - I reset my Remote settings to factory and reloaded my previous template and now my bank/track back/forwards work again but now i only get recordarm which i couldnt get before so im still in the dark about flipping cc57 and worse now my first fader does volume and plugin changes which I dont want - to be honest I dont wany any plugin control at present unless i specify other knobs for it. So back to my drawing board - what is flipping doing and why can i oinly seem to turn it on or change it and not remove it cc57 data 127 ?.......

All sorted next morning - i missed the mode cc109 thinking it meant PT mode buttons so now all works - any controller with programable cc can be
an m audio keyboard. Shame about the pans and that so little is midi able in PT - Im looking at midi2qwerty as a way of adding a bit more

Im on PT9 and am loath to buy an maudio box to replace my old kit for the little midi I need.
I was wrong above in saying I understand now because I can get what i need working ie faders mutes record and track selection but my cc109 seems to do nothing and i just flip cc57 to get solo/mute/record/track selection. Also on boot up I have to select a not working peripheral and then reset to my selection or im just stuck on mute/solo with no track selection access. I can also see protools sending out a dozen messages to my Remote for everyone I send in - Ive never seen a way of turning off midi outs?

It works when i need it enough which isnt often the way i work

so did panning ever get figured out with the nanokontrol?

I am still on this method and the pan knobs still jump on pt9.

If someone has a MIDI controller that is known to be able to control PT, this software is a great way of figuring out what's going on when you press a button or turn a knob:

Excellent tip - thanks!

And thanks to all the contributors here - I just got my Ozonic setup with PT9.
