Re: Serious timing issues afer PT 8 upgrade!

Reverting back to 8.03 solved the problem. What a waste of time and effort.

Serious timing issues afer PT 8 upgrade!

Hello,
Working on a dual core PC.

After working flawlessly for years with pt 7x I now have massive timing problems after an upgrade to PT 8.05. The cursor jumps and jutters during playback, and...

Re: HELP....H/W Buffer Size @ 128 Samples or less DOENS\'T WORK AT ALL

The best workaround in my opinion is to monitor recording via a seperate ouboard mixer and mute the output of the 002 of the track you are recording. That will keep the musicians relaxed. If you...

Re: Please help me!!! crazy random delay

Couldn't have said it better myself. Latency is always there, sometimes more somethimes less. That's what the nudge function is all about.

Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here

Roy, Murph, DDP!

Thank you for taking the time to listen. The vocals were done on an AKG SolidTube, with a Behringer Magician in the insert loop of the mixer. The vocal effects are really quite...

Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here

Hey Neatguy,

Oh yeah, the vocals were done at home, with all the rest of it. You wouldn't believe it, in the corner, under a wool blanket supported by mic stands to kill the ambience....

Long...

Re: bounce without dither

Dithering is important when levels get low, such as a master fade out. If you don't dither, you can get cutoffs as the levels move to -inf. When bouncing from 24 to 16 bits, you really should use...

Re: Behringer Magician

Hmmmm...I don't know if that is totally true. From a very high-end point of view, almost everything is crap. On the other hand, some people can't pay $10,000 bucks for each piece of equipment they...

Re: question for people with alot of experience w/ reverb/echo

Another way to go about this is to use Aux tracks, one for each effect. Then you can easily and inependently adjust the amounts of both effects without them being on top of each other...

Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here

It sometimes gets to the point where I draw a flowchart....But you are right, just thinking about how to manage the production is half the fun......Looking forward to your post!

Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here

Thank you Roy! We are based in Germany. That was a complex tune (for me) to produce. The instrumental work (most of it is actually guitar) took up most of the capacity of the session with all the...

Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here

Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here

Thanks Mark!

Reposting at a higher rate won't help streaming....it's just good for cds at mp3.com. Streaming is still done at 128. Glad you like our work. Take care!
