You probably don't have it setup properly but don't realise. I had a problem where I hadn't pushed the optical cable in far enough and it took me 2 days trying to work it out until I read somewhere...

Try setting it to internal instead of optical in Hardware setup/ Clock just to see if that makes a difference. I have the same as you but set to optical.

I have a plugin problem and I want clear them all out but I can't remember which folders to clear? Also, when I put them back on how do I arrange into the right menus pls? I havn't touched plugins...

I think the converters much better than the Digimax etc, its a poor mans apoogee from what I've read. If you got some nice preamps its all you need.

Wow! Then it really does sound like a $10,000 German Valve mic like the Rode ad says it does. I should get my eyes tested so I can hear better!

Next time your in a real studio ask the engineer what he would buy for his vocal mic? Ask him why he doesn't use Rode? hehe. Saying your mic is crap is like saying your girlfriend is ugly isn't it?...
