It works awesome clocked to an external source! I'm very happy with the results.
(Ps - I'll let you know when I get around to trying it. I haven't hooked it up to an ext. source yet.)

I'm in the same boat. I'm all ears. If anyone's heard the heavy use of vocoding on Shiny Toy Guns - "The Weather Girl", I'd be curious to hear anyone's guess on their method.

So I installed 6.7 on my G5 and immediately did the 6.9 upgrade. Now my system sound doesn't work. I can hear all PTLE sound when I'm running my 002, but nothing else.

Apogee Rosetta 200 - awesome clarity. very musical
UA 2192 - pristine. TONS of headroom. you won't get the subtle smearing you would on the apogee. although, some people really like that.

If you're looking for ram what you need is 200-pin PC2700 DDR SODIMM. Newegg.com has the best prices around & they are reliable as you can get.

I just ordered 2 x 1GB sticks for $193 each...
