great , I have HD Native and a UAD card. I did notice on UA website it saying that their cards dont work with magma yet....

I just upgraded to a new mad book pro and with it got a new apple Bluetooth keyboard and mouse(which is awesome by the way). I'm running pro tools 10.2 hd with no issues.

Buddy I had the same thing. Mine turned out to be a dodgy midi driver, once I removed that everything worked fine.

Does pro tools take ages to start up and lags in the setting up midi screen?

No HUI set up at all....MIDI studio won't even launch from pro tools and when you launch the Audio/MIDI utility in OSX if fails

Yep. I use it for a liquid mix with a FireWire 400 to 800 adapter. So in essence I'm still using a FireWire 400 cable so I can't comment on the bandwidth.
