We have one in the SC48 as well as one on our Mac Mini. With that said, our Protools version is Protools10, so I don't know if they have changed it for the current version.

R&R cases make them. They made one for the SC-48 that would slide into the slot, but with the Profiles not having a slot they made them so that they fit into the groove of the case. Pretty slick.

Well, it sounds like you may soon be able to download all updates. I think it can be done even with OS system updates. Like I stated before...wholehog lighting consoles have Windows XP operating...

I am a consumer, so I can't tell you which software version will be on the desk, but I am sure you will have to do at least some form of upgrade. This currently hasn't cost me anything...

R & R built ours. Here is a link to their website showing it. The one thing I would change if you plan on having a Mac Mini be your Protools computer, is to have a deeper slide out for the keyboard....

I am not sure if this is what you are looking to do, but you can select whatever channel you want to work on in regards to the insert, then press the "plug in" button in the upper right hand corner...

Maybe the page you link to should be found easier. I had a time finding it as well. I don't know why the latest versions aren't up on the plugins page but are on a page you have to hunt...
