I love my 001. was a big upgrade for me from my old Echo Gina20, runs great and is very reliable on my system.
I have no idea about the dual/ core or dwual cpu thing.

I use a variation on the 845 as well. The exact chipset (listed below) is no included in the compatibility page but it does work fine.
