Im just wondering ... I run pro tools 7 on the 002 ...for the first time I bounced a beat
from fruitloops into small loop files at 78bpm

I created a new pro tools session set the tempo to 78 and...

what are the benefits of ducking compression im pretty new to alot of advanced techniques
and when and why to use it ... i do mostly hip hop and r&b

Ok i think i figured it out , lol It was the time link time line and edit selection ..that has the shortcut " shift / " lol but i swore I checked that when i was playing with stuff to get it...

nope, Thnx for quick reply , I checked preroll already tho and thats not it.
This is puzzling me the death, also note that its a saveable setting ...meaning in one of my auto saves its not like this...

I have a similiar problem ... Im working in a session as I type and all of a sudden
everytime I try and start playback, no matter where I place the cursor ...the playback
always starts at zero...

What I always do is bounce my mix down to a stereo file @ whatever my session is.
Usually 24bit etc... then I will pull that 24 bit stereo file back up in a new session and on the master fader use a...
