Hmm, that's a good question. Though you could buy an AM3 card on ebay for like $30. Make sure it's a rev QE or QC so it will run with your G4.

I'm pretty sure that they are both limited to four audio and midi tracks. With either version you can get the full version of Live 7 for like $299 which is well worth it.
