AAE-9173 - Ran Out Of CPU Power

Well like he says maybe it’s related to having a big cache

Reduce your disk cache to something really small or just play with the setting to see if it helps.

Re: AAE-9173 - Ran Out Of CPU Power

Did they ever fix the issue with Pitch ll?

Wasn’t there instructions to remove that plugin from your folder?

It used to crash PT, did it ever get fixed?

Ok I will check it out....

I didn’t realize the previous poster had a MBP....obviously you can change the GPU in that case.

Random CPU Spikes (-9173 errors)

Nope but it will only help you if you do.....just the incessant attempting to call home of these types of Apps aren't good for your PT system

Random CPU Spikes (-9173 errors)

They should, for real, but won't.......you know why? Because it forward thinking and beneficial, this is why it probably won't happen.

Honestly, I'm not being sarcastic

AAE error -9173 stronger than ever on PT 12.5

Sounds like a weird problem

You should go get another computer and try it, b/c I run PT12.5.1 on a E5 8 Core Xeon and don't have that issue.
