Good source (player + instrument) + good mic + good mic placement + good pre + good converter + good clock = no need for 11 ms delay.

Most likley you need a cable that is 1/4 TS to XLR where tip is pin 2 and sleve is pins 1 and 3. Have you checked the manual? Sometimes you need to leave pin 3 N/C.

Pio is a no no. Have you switched out the cable for your hard drives?
Have you tried the cable slect position on your hard drive jumpers? I have bios # 1005, have you upgraded? How about your G450...

I think you are looking for a gate with a ducking function. In duck mode the gate is always open until it gets signal at the key input then it closes.
