You can not upgrade the pod pro to the pod xt. the pod xt has more bandwidth. you might want to consider the pod xt. it has many more effects and amps and cabs. it also has asio drivers.

say I have a motherboard with a 333 mhz fsb.....would that use ddr 2100....2700 what do these numbers have to do with the memory speed?

Pre amp tubes don't glow blue like power tubes, and they last for years. they might become micophonic and you can usually tell just by tapping on them with a pencil while your pre amp is on. wiggling...

mic inputs reversed

Thats just it... I set up a system for my buddy (PT 5.3.1 XP 1.4 thundrbird Allen system)and Mic input one shows up as input two in PT images/icons/shocked.gif
