Yes, I have an external USB drive as my " time machine" and also a USB hub which houses my ilock, USB mouse and USB wireless keyboard.

Yes, the eleven rack is connected directly to a USB port on the Mac. Not into a hub.

The session is on a different hd than the application. My machine has 4 internal hard drives.. I run pt on the Mac HD all my sessions on a dedicated seperate hd.

I downloaded the 10.3 upgrade and all is working well. The expansion pack is all there and everything is good! I also noticed how much faster PT is running after installing the upgrade.

AHHH......I have PT 10 version 10.1.2. I have not updated to the latest version because being a newer PT user (coming from Cubase 5 for many years) I always had issues with things working after...

I just purchased the 11R form an online dealer, brand new. I was told I had the expansion pack installed, but when I look for the DC bass, for example I don't have that rig nor do I see the towel bar...

great point. I just loaded up a eleven rack full session and it has all the reamping set up etc....nice way to get your head wrapped around the concepts!

I actually hooked up the 11r as the primary interface as most times, recording myself I don't need the studio live. I only use that when recording full bands.

So for now I have the 11r connected...

Yea, I read about that method as well this morning. I was hoping I could have a couple of fav folders that separate they type of plugin but maybe its not able to do that.

I took them all off the master fader but no difference. I usually have the Slate digital VTM and VCC on the master fader. I can even just have a new session with the only track being an instrument...
