Yes, no other changes than installing the update and it resolved the GUI freezes/hangs, solid now for me :-)

I actually also completely erased my iMac, did a clean install of 11.5.1 and then a clean install of Pro t=Tools 2021.6, and sadly still combatant beach balls and hanging. Glad you are lucky :-) But...

I think the lack of demo sounds online, is one of the main reasons I am so undecided. I really am looking for something new and creative, and there aren't a lot of TDM virtual instruments out there...

Yes that is true, I see you can use the HDTM plug-ins on the HD or Accel card, and the RTAS plug-ins can be used using the G5's processor. But I am still curious what the HD card itself can...
