Yes I removed the 001 card and am rumming the 002 rack....It works fine with PT but the system still is seeing the 001 and not the 002 at all...in the sound preference panel and other apps like...

I upgraded from 001 to 002 and OSX system sound still only shows 001 as output option.

I trashed apple.sound prefs and took the 001 card out.

As a result Peak , Live and other apps are stuck...

i just recorded the click plug and measured against a kick track and got 174 samples latency

If outputs are +4 db , When I have the master bus at 0db , I am hearing 4db louder than the material really is, in my mains?

If I go to a Pre with Analog out would it be wrong to go to inputs 1-4 on the 002? would 4/5 be right? is there a difference?

you are tight that only one (left and right-independantly) is being flipped to achive the effect.

It seems like the sugestion of the system being off could be true. I suppose I will have to run...

We put the PAZ Analyser on the stereo bus and (true to what the Waves PAZ manual says) when we flipped the phase- signal shot out into the "anti-phase " area, We we "unfliped the signal was straight...

"Got news for ya, you can't correct phase alignment by sliding tracks, you can only correct time alignment. Time and phase are two related but different issues, and moving the track in time does not...
