Re: Pro Tools won't unload (this is a weird one)

Thank you Darryl.

I've tried deleting the Pro Tools app data folder -- same problem.

I will try moving the aax files ASAP, and get back to you.

Re: PT12 routing with RME UFX

003: Where is the cue mix?

With all the understandable disappointment in the 003, I'm surprised not one DUC poster complained about the absence of low-latency cue mixing. For years, MOTU has led the way with this feature which...

MCU shuttle resolution

The MCU shuttle resolution seems to default to ticks. Is there a way to change this to measures or beats. I ask because I recently purchased a Frontier Design Tranzport which defaults to measures, a...

Cursor ghost in edit window

In the edit window, all cursor shapes are ghosted, i.e., an outline of the cursor appears to the right of the cursor. It doesn't seem to affect performance. It's just visually annoying.

Anyone...

Problems with SONAR, Reason & Digi002R

Since installing the Digidesign ASIO driver 7 (which fixed a lot of stuff), I've had problems with SONAR 5PE locking up when Reason 2.5 is ReWired in. It happens particularly when I use Ctrl+PageUp...

Re: Is there a new ASIO driver with PTLE 7?

Chris,

Thanks for the reply. I presently use PTLE 6.4 on a Digi002R with several other audio/video apps and I'm hopeful that several bugs have been addressed. Particularly problems with SONAR, the...

Digi --

Will there be an improved ASIO driver released with PTLE 7?
In particular, will it address the MIDI sysex issue in the existing driver?

Re: Well here it is ProTools 7.0

Digi --

Will the PTLE upgrade from 6.4 to 7.0 be more than $75 after Oct. 7?
Also, is the 002R MIDI sysex ASIO driver issue resolved in 7.0?

Re: Stylu RMX and Trilogy

I'm not in my studio right now, but you should be able to record by:

1. Inserting Stylus on an audio track instead of an aux.

2. Routing the aux bus that Stylus is inserted on to an...

Re: When will Windows XP x64 be supported?

Also, not all 002R owners use PTLE as their primary DAW. There are other audio apps ready to take advantage of 64-bit. That's why I ask specifically about the ASIO driver. It's kind of sad that...

Re: 18 mics in with a Firewire 1814 + 2xADA8000

The ADAT and S/PDIF on the 1814 are mutually exclusive, so the maximum number of simultaneous inputs is 16. The information below came from M-Audio tech support.

"You have a choice of either...

If PT 5.1 can generate MTC (MIDI Time Code), SONAR will sync to it. Check the manuals for MTC.
