The defauly setting (if there's another?) is in semitones.cents.

Re: Red Book Capabilities

Peak requires Jam to do Red Book burns.
Jam requires Peak for editing capabilities.

Waveburner is now bundled with Logic. I've not read good things about the new OSX version. As far as I know you...

Re: Dual Monitor displays, The G5 & Protools

I'm sure Apple does want to streamline the G5. Apple may also not mind limiting the PCI expansion capabilities for Pro Tools users or at least making it cost prohibitive for many to expand since...

Re: NEW HD SYSTEMS AT AES

Totally agree with RobMacki on this. Mid range control surface(s) would be cool and welcome.
I also do not believe a new HD is coming this AES.
Pro Tools 6.7 I'm sure.

Re: Importing/loading Impulse Reverbs into TL Spac

Since this is becoming an issue might it not serve both sides if manufacturers sold their impulse reverbs to people who don't own their particular interface?

Re: iMac G5

I can understand your interest in an iMac purchase. It's a nice package. However, it will not compete with the PC.

Noted.

Re: iMac G5

No problem.
LE is an affordable path to Pro Tools.

The $100. rebate that Tele Player mentioned sounds good. If that is your main or only system you won't regret the 20". It's a clean machine.

Re: iMac G5

Providing you're not cutting 24 tracks at 96K (which taxes the CPU even more than 48K) and satisfied with:
- Using plugs then processing audio.
- Using plugs "stratigically".
or Taking the session...

Re: digi 002 and control of plugins

What computer...CPU speed...and ram?
Amplitube is DSP hungary. Perhaps it's just your computer responding sluggishly. The more plugs you use the slower the redraws become as audio is top priority in...

Re: iMac G5

My new G5 iMac worked like a charm this past weekend.

002, PT LE (6.4cs7), Peak, Toast, and Jam.

Functioned as expected. Quiet and a bit of a conversation piece.
The...

Re: iMac G5 and PT LE (and ram)

Not exactly sure on specs of Davec test. However, I have an Mbox (USB) at home and did some preliminary testing.

Re: iMac G5 and PT LE (and ram)

I've had the imac on for 5 hours straight setting up software, nework etc.
Pretty quiet. If the fans have come on I haven't noticed.
The spinning of the CD/DVD mechanism is (obviously) noticable...
