Anyway, I found C states and Turbo Boost in BIOS and deactivated them. We'll see.

It's plugged into my Furman. Never battery.
I don't understand this BIOS/C state stuff. I downloaded some program that said it disabled Turbo Boost. Protool still just givers the plugin error on one...

I noticed the Apollo buffer stayed at 256 even when I changed PT to 1024. I have them now both set at 512. Could it be as simple as that? Probably not....

I found that. It has CPU 0 thru 7. I remember somewhere it saying I should unclick CPU 0, so I did that. I don't see anything about 2 cores.
Also, would changing the "priority" of PT from "normal"...

I ran the Lat Mon and it spiked real quick.
I did more investigating and got into the BIOS (I think) and disabled as much of the Intel Boost things I saw, but none were exactly the same...

ACPI Driver for NT make it go red.
I went into BIOS and got no where.
I Task Mgr and updated the drivers for ACPI Method Battery but they were up to date,

I ran Latency Mon. Says My system may be having trouble. I check the power throttling and it is DISABLED on PT (any everything).
