You can have TRIM activated also in Snow Leopard (from 10.6.5 to the latest SL release) with a free tool. Just search on the net :) I have my SSD working perfectly with TRIM under 10.6.7

I never had any issues with my WD SSD. I got a Silicon Blue (128GB), it works like a charm with PT HD 8.1.1 on 10.6.7 and Mac Pro 8Core 2.26 Ghz.
Have you verified if there's any firmware...

Problem is that probably in the future, if they decided to not upgrade their dsp cards, TDM plugins won't see the light.

Thanks Maxon, I know that UAD plugins aren't available as TDM :) But they are in RTAS... good to know about the amount of delay introduced.

Just to clarify a couple of things: yes, you can use TL Space in a Mix setup. I was using months ago the RTAS version on my PT 6.4.1cs4 with 10.3.9. The TDM version is available only for HD users....
