xp will only recognize 3.25 or 3.75 gigs of ram, cant remember which exactly!! about a gig a core is great, the cpu's utilize it though windows cant, but i really doubt you would gain anything with...

go to the nvidia site and update your graphics driver. also updating to at least 7.3.1 cs would be better than 7.1 though i dont think this could be your problem completly

also, not recomended...

just uncompress and run the files, it will take care of everything. do the bios tweaks on the text doc. as well.
