Mr DibS, yes, at this point it all adds up to "useless to me, really" too. It's bad enough realizing that Native and DSP can't mix anymore on one track... and not only is that the same on the Master...

Actually the MuteTone plugin is a 'set and forget' plugin therefore no pushing virtual buttons, once set, forget.

The main problem here is that Avid need to remove whichever digit they...

I asked Salvator at TriTone Digital about adjusting the MuteTone plugin to work with PT in LLM... sadly there is no way to simply 'adjust' his plugin code, it will take Avid re-writing/adding to...

Once I got the MuteTone plugin working (ver 1.0.2) so far all is good.

I appreciate that I'm not alone on this quest having done some searching, there are hundreds of PT users up in arms about...

Yeah, 10.2 in. All seems good.

I spoke with an Avid tech in San Francisco this afternoon (I'm in L.A). It seems that the LLM thing works fine when "delay compensation" is not...

Yes, Omni "mixer", this is why I was trying "MuteTone"...

Yes I could be over complicating it all... the thing is that I have tried everything I and all my fellow PT users can think of...

The "little software mixer" is menu: setup>hardware and then the mixer tab.

And btw, still no luck with this session and the $149 worth of support I just paid for haven't come up with anything...

Sadly, in PTHD 10.1.3, MuteTone doesn't do what I need either... (?) all that plug seems to do is mute the channel from instantiation not only when you hit record...

I think that there is another...

The Massey 'Talkback' plugin does not work with 10.1.3. Yes, why doesn't Avid do something about this... am I missing something or is there another way to monitor in HD Native without the delay using...

HD Omni is a great 'output' interface for Cubase/Nuendo but using it to record into Cubase or worse, overdub into a mix, is next to impossible as there is no 'low latency' way of doing...

Btw nst7, isn't the Omni called an audio 'interface' ? and yes it does interface through the HD Native card to the computer so please spare me the semantics ;) one doesn't work without the other,...

That's an interesting answer... so, the Omni 'is' Core Audio compliant but (only) connects 'through' the HD Native 'card' BUT the 'card' isn't Core Audio compliant so... sorry but that's engineering...
