Paid for crossgrade and nothing

I'm now running Big Sur and had to crossgrade from Pro Tools 2018.
Paying the $100 + tax was easy and fast, but getting an activation code (SO I CAN KEEP WORKING) or being able to reach anyone via...

Re: Why do I have do buy Velvet AGAIN after upgrading to PT 12?!

I've had PT11 for a long time, but for many reasons was still using PT10 exclusively. But yes, now that I finally decided to move to PT12 I'm running into all these issues... They were nice enough to...

Re: Transfuser update to AAX?

Good news - They got back to me with an upgrade offer for $29.99.
That's reasonable and fair, but I still think I shouldn't have to ask for it. This should be an option available on the website,...

Re: Transfuser update to AAX?

No, that's only if you already have Strike 2.0.2.
I have the older versions of both Velvet and Strike, and would have to pay full price if I want to use them again.

Re: Transfuser update to AAX?

Exactly. There's just no way I'll pay full price for both Velvet and Strike AGAIN.
They lost another customer. What a terrible policy.

Re: Why do I have do buy Velvet AGAIN after upgrading to PT 12?!

You're right. I didn't install them yet and was confused.
But again, I also own Strike and just refuse to buy it again. I'm not supporting this company.

Re: Why do I have do buy Velvet AGAIN after upgrading to PT 12?!

That's exactly what I'm thinking about doing from now on. I'm regretting leaving PT10 already. I might go back to it if I can switch back to OS X 10.8.

Re: Why do I have do buy Velvet AGAIN after upgrading to PT 12?!

Thanks, but Air First Instrument Bundle is included with PT12 so most of those are already included. Unfortunately, Velvet is not part of that bundle.
I'm not buying it again.

Re: Why do I have do buy Velvet AGAIN after upgrading to PT 12?!

And yes, the first thing I did was to contact AIR asking for an update option.
Still waiting for a response but will post here after I hear from them.

Re: Why do I have do buy Velvet AGAIN after upgrading to PT 12?!

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions.
I agree and understand that coding changes and people have to work on updates, but there's no upgrade option as of now. I've never seen this before....

Why do I have do buy Velvet AGAIN after upgrading to PT 12?!

I'm extremely disappointed after upgrading from Pro Tools 10 to 12, and finding out the only option to use Velvet is by BUYING IT AGAIN. I bought Velvet in 2010 for $250, and in 2013 paid $50 for the...
