Schoolboy error; software needs updating to 6.4. Lost my authorisation code though so have had to email Digidesign.

I've been tempted to try out Battery and Kontakt. I've heard a lot of positive things about them. I think the idea of merging sounds is well valid and it's not really mentioned that much.

I have a copy of Reason as well. I've tried using that Scream distortion along with phasers and such on bass samples but can't make anything that really rocks.
