Re: DVD Audio

If the above doesn't work out, try reading the credits at the end of the movie. It should list the artist and title of the tracks. If that doesn't work, look for the soundtrack to get the name of...

Re: Burning CD\'s with no gaps between tracks

I've used Jam and never had any issues. You can remove the 2 second pause (default) and change to 0. And you can adjust you in and out times if needed.

Re: How can I insert a hardware effect into my master track?

Use the inserts at the top of your channel in the mix window.

It should be the same as inserting on any other channel. If you have your manual, check the index on inserts.

Re: Grace 101 or Summit Audio 221 preamp?

I've heard good things about both, but haven't heard either of them. I know Skywalker sound uses the Grace designs, and I have used other Summit Audio pre's & eq's. They sound great.

I myself,...

Re: How to fix a corrupt track. I think it\'s preventing a Bounce.

Glad to see that removing all those extra audio files helped.

Instead of bouncing all that audio, have you considered using a separate 2 track recorder? Your mixes will probably sound better. ...

Re: Right On The NS-10s, Right Everywhere????

I own a pair of NS-10s, but I also own a pair JBL LSR28P monitors.

Needless to say, I don't use the NS10's as much anymore, but they are still there as a reference. I wouldn't mix without having...

Re: Upgrade to 9.2 NOW!!

I haven't heard many good things about 9.2.2.

I'm still running 9.0.4. It's the most stable that I have experienced to date. Running PT 5.1.1 and I haven't had any problems.

I have a few...

Re: How to fix a corrupt track. I think it\'s preventing a Bounce.

That's similar to what mine did. It just stopped bouncing. It actually started when I upgraded to 5.1.1.

It created havock for about 2 months. I finally called digi tech support and had them on...

Re: Help, please!! Can\'t get rid of random pops

Sounds like a sample rate problem.

Did you import those 48k wav files into the session?

Here's what I would check. Create a new session, and when you create it, make sure it's set to 48k and...

Re: Seagate Ultra 160 drive compatibility w/ATTO UL3D & SoftRaid

I'm using a dual channel ATTO card in slot #4 of my G4/400. Haven't had any issues. As far as RAID software...couldn't tell ya. I've only used raid on our network server here at work.

Re: New Mac System User Help.. RAM/IDE/SCSI?

PTLE suggests a minimum ram of 192MB. I would suggest getting another 128MB on top of your 128 for a total of 256.

Re: marshall microphones

Re: marshall microphones

As far as the 2003's, they're good too. The 2001 mic has a 6 mil Diaphram, and the 2003 has a thinner 3 mil Diaphram. The 2003 has more high end response. I've used the 2001's for drum overheads...
