Is there maybe the possibility to skip the process of plugin scanning ?
For example by pressing a key during launch ?

my system meets the minimum requirements by far...

2.3 GHz 8-core Intel i9 with 64GB RAM ...

Wasn't aware of that ...

But as I don't even have a plugins folder (or now a manually created empty folder) I'm not quite sure to solve my problem with PT|first hanging on launch...

Hi !

I'm jumping in here as I'm having the same problem - my PTF gets stuck while "scanning plugins" on first launch ...

I've downloaded and installed PTF version 2021.6.0 today on MacOS 12.0.1...
