Would be nice if in the events you could use the meter input level. This way whenever the signal hit the event threshold it could trigger the tap tempo. Digital consoles shouldn't require an...

Not the perfect solution, but have you tried adjusting the settings on the monitor itself? You should be able to force the horizontal size somewhat which should help the issue.

From what I have seen on the offline editor, the SC48 has 20 plug in slots, no more.

I apologize as I really should have been a little clearer on the situation where this console would be used.

I work in a municipally run multi-use facilty where this console would be used as a FOH...
