For a PC to come close to a G4, it needs to be mighty powerful. You need about twice as fast a processor in the PC. Check the apple website and go to hardware, and it should say somewhere.

How do you connect the ADA8000 up to ProTools then?

How would you go about connecting this up to the Digi001? Would you then get 8 seperate channels to record through? I currently have the Mbox and I'm just curious if you can do it with that.

How can I use the internals busses on the Mbox? I'm trying to send the output of one channel to another.

What I want is...

Channel 1: Input > guitar rig > (Output 1-2 and bus 1-2)...

It all depends on the size of the plugin really. You can't just say that two mono plugins are smaller than a stereo.

As far as I can see from looking at the M-Audio site, the sessions created in M-Powered are completely compatible with LE. It says that they are interchangeable, so I'm guessing that you can open LE...

If I got a separate firewire hard drive for my iBook, would it be possible to install Pro Tools M-Powered on that hard drive, whilst keeping my Pro Tools LE on the actual iBook's hard drive?

So at the moment I have the Mbox, but I could actually use, say, an 1814 M-Audio interface, and still run pro tools off it?
And this would give me more than 2 channels to simultaneously record? Or...
