I am also experiencing this... Also when you play back the performance, all of the sustains are there. But while monitoring the performance during recording, it doesn't seem to detect the sustain...

No need to disk partition. Download and install Pro Tools 10.3.6 first. Then download and install PT11. they will work side by side on the same OS. I've even recorded in PT10 and mixed in PT11.

My understanding is that Mountain Lion simply won't install on a 32bit EFI without jumping through hoops. I'm not sure if this is an artificial limitation imposed by Mac OS programmers or if there is...

A Mac Pro 1,1 running 10.7.5 will absolutely run 64bit applications. Open up "Activity Monitor" and you'll see a list of programs that have (Intel 64 bit) in the "Kind" column. Pro Tools 11 is not...

If I remember correctly, Avid stopped offering the 4 years free upgrades when PT10 Academic was released, so my guess is, those who were lucky enough to get the PT9 Academic with 4 Years free upgrade...

In Mac OS X Pro Tools uses a 64bit process server called KMM_server for the advanced disk caching option. So Avid could have advertised Pro Tools 10 "now with 64bit capability **HD and CPTK...

I got confused about this also. Low latency monitoring in PT10 simply disables Outputs 1-2 when you record enable a track so that you can use the Onboard DSP Mixer and Router on your 3rd party...

My post was to sort of point out that perhaps some people who WERE using HD would be just fine or perhaps even BETTER OFF going HD|Native or CPTK with 3rd party...
