I have just purchased the SPL Goldmike 9844 and want to connect it to the Digi 002r inputs 5-6.
What is the best way to do it?

Balanced XLR to jack?
Unbalanced jack to jack?

And like guitardom said, cut out everything but the drum hits.
Also mess around with Drumagog settings. Threshold, sensitivity and so on...

What I actually meant was, that to my ears it doesn´ t matter how they are panned when I listen to the speakers!
Is the ride cymbal in the left or the right speaker? I don´t care......

As a drummer I pan them like you. From the drivers seat ;-)

IMO there´s no right or wrong. And played on speakers you can´t tell the difference anyway, so I always do it the way I want it :-)

Software first. Plug in the Mbox when asked for it.

Either way I´m sure your machine wont blow up if you accidently do it the other way around ;-)
