Howdy! Since no-one has responded, I thought I'd post a picture of the problem. As you can see the Hammerfall DSP has plenty of available channels, but when you go to create a new path, only "Mono"...

difference between Monitor Outs and Line Out 1-2 ?

In case anyone is interested, for the record it has been verified by Digi CS that Pro Tools 6.1 XP does NOT feature multichannel WMA9 support, only stereo 44K WMA8 support. You need Pro Tools 6.2 XP...

In case anyone is interested... I spoke to Digidesign CS about this and they said it is "by design," i.e., deliberate. They are concerned about users without filename length limits taking/sending...

All your smiley faces won't help me here... I am given filenames from somewhere else, where they are perfectly acceptable. It's only Pro Tools that can't load them.

Why is Pro Tools XP 6.1 limited to only working with files whose names are 27+4 characters or less?

This is very primitive. XP allows much longer filenames. So does MAC OS X by the way, this...

Hello folks... I have a 48K 5.1 session, but it looks like it will only bounce WMA "old style" i.e. it wants to convert my session output to 44K, it wants to make it stereo etc. and it's not calling...

PT6.1 XP CD has the wrong "readme" PDF

The XP version's CDROM features the MAC OS X readme .PDF file, not the XP one. Thought you might like to know.
